Say a Little Prayer (Pen Drawing)

By Shahid KaziApril 19, 2024
We say a little prayer
Whispering under our breath
Praying to keep what we have
Hopeful for all that we crave...

Emotions running far into the deep
Heart feeling every tear as we weep
For life isn't easy, help we all need
Being human, our hearts often bleed...

We cannot see and yet we pray
Hoping someone hears what we say
For fighting alone we may brave it all
Hoping someone catches as we fall...

We say a little prayer
Whispering under our breath
Praying to keep what we have
Hopeful for all that we crave...

Stay a little longer.

There is always another story around the corner.
