Stop (Poetry)

Chasing dreams, running day and night
Ever stop to see, have you lost sight?
Dreams are fragile, not meant to last
Forever changing, leaving all in the past

Live life a little, don't let your wants pile
Look in the mirror, every once in a while
You finally see, you've changed along the way
So take the time, to know your heart's fray

Priorities change, with life's every battle scar
Renew your dreams, before they seem too far
People come, people go, you're the only one to stay
Don't lie to yourself, when you say, It's all OK

Life is pretty, life is simple, let it stay that way
Don't burden yourself, pushing to burn away
Stop for a while, don't worry about the race
All that matters, is a happy smile on thy face...
