Standing by the shore
  Watching the waves dance away
Wings ready to take off
Weighed down by heart's fray

Why bother tells the mind
Why care so much why the dismay
Heart tells a different story
Heart is where logic runs astray

Free to fly the mind screams
Feet bound by a heart locked away
Run run while you have a chance
Run to what, heart wants to stay

Battles be fought in this minds galley
Wounded a little bit, every day
Why stay in chaos why not run away
But heart is where logic runs astray
