Window To Life (Poem)

Pink and blue and a hint of red
    Twilight abound the sky has spread... 
Everything pretty, everything bright
    Staring out my window tonight...

Colors of the world on every side
    People scurrying every shape and size...
The road abuzz day and night
    Every sight, pure and simple delight...

Life slows down as darkness comes by
    The sun at last waves its final goodbye...
Moon so elegant, lighting up the night
    Smiling along stars shining so bright...

Winds bringing in the touch of flowers
    Fragrances lingering around for hours...
Cool the breeze to feel in your face
    Nature's glory in all its grace...

Beautiful the world, but blind our eye
    Missing its glory as life passes on by...
Lying in bed I'm no longer whole
    This window beside, the door to my soul...
